No more Ryanair. December 8, 2009 The band and management have decided that we are no longer prepared to travel with this "so called" airline. The reasons are many and include: 1. The rip off of online check in. Our manager is not prepared to book a flight and then have to "remember from 15 days before and up to 4 hours before" to check in online. Penalty £40 per person. Quote: When I book a flight that's it for me. I expect to turn up and fly. Is this too much to ask. If you have a bag to put down the belt what's the advantage to the passenger ? There isn't one. 2. Victimisation of musicians. For a musician to have to pay more for his or her's instrument as opposed to a person with a "normal" suitcase, which in most cases would proberbly be bigger, is a joke. 3. £6.50 for a small bottle of cheap French plonk or some cheap whisky in a plastic bag. This is 100% more than most of their competitors. No thanks. So what's next I wonder. £1 a piss. or may be a special offer. 2 poos for the price of 3. Rememeber there are eight of us and we fly most weekends. Who will this decision effect. Not us.

100 Club September 21, 2009 The band had a great night at the 100 club last Friday. What a fantastic crowd. Many thanks to Fee Warner and TAG for all the hard work. Hopefully we all helped towards the cost of maintaining the Barnes site.
